1. Agreement
By using RecipeBun, you agree to these Terms.
2. Service
RecipeBun (by RecipeBun) lets you privately store and search recipes, manage grocery items, and plan meals. We may update or remove features.
3. Accounts & eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and legally able to use the service. You must provide accurate information and are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and device.
4. Your content
You own your content. You grant us a limited license to host/process it solely to run the app (sync, indexing/embeddings, backups).
5. Acceptable use
No illegal activity, rights violations, security abuses, scraping, or reverse engineering beyond what law allows. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations.
6. Intellectual Property
The RecipeBun app and its content are owned by us or our licensors. You may not reverse engineer, create derivative works, or use the app for any purpose other than its intended use, except as permitted by law.
7. Third-party services
We use vendors (e.g., Supabase) as processors to operate infrastructure. They don't get independent rights to your data.
8. Purchases (only if applicable)
If paid features are offered, billing and cancellation follow Apple's in-app purchase rules. Free trials may be offered. Refunds are handled per Apple's App Store terms. To cancel subscriptions, manage in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
9. Warranty disclaimer
THE APP IS PROVIDED 'AS IS/AS AVAILABLE.' We disclaim implied warranties to the extent permitted by law.
10. Liability limit
To the extent allowed by law, we're not liable for indirect/consequential damages. Total liability is capped at fees you paid to us in the 12 months before a claim (or $0 if free).
11. Termination
You may stop using the app or delete your account in-app. We may suspend/terminate for violations, security, or legal reasons.
12. Governing law & venue
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or related to them or the Service are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, U.S.A., without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and RecipeBun agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Travis County, Texas for all such disputes. If your local law gives you mandatory consumer rights, you may assert those rights in your home jurisdiction. The U.N. Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
